Updated Action Research Plan

It looks good. I like how you are looking at results from the classes that used technology and those that did not. It will be interesting to see the results. I think the most important part of your research will be looking at "how" the technology was used. That could even lead to another research by looking at if technology was used as a manipulative or if the kids used it themselves etc. Good project!!
ReplyDeleteOur campus has many different academic programs that the teachers can have their students use. I am always curious if these programs improve academic performance or not.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you will be looking at any data on individual students vs. whole class. For instance, if a teacher doesn't have their entire class on SuccessMaker but a student uses it every day during homeroom and dismissal. We have that situation a lot in my school because many teachers do not want to take "instruction" time to go to the computer lab.
I look forward to seeing your plan progress.
Your plan looks great, Lori! Is there a specific technology that you will be looking at, or just any technology in general?
